A HUGE thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Henderson for their incredible generosity! 🎁 Yesterday, every Pre-K student at Wylie Primary School received a gift, bringing smiles to so many little faces. 😊
Your kindness and dedication to our community make a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for all you do to support our students!

🎅✨ Guess who came to visit us at school today? Santa Claus himself! A huge thank you to Santa for taking the time out of his busy schedule to bring so much joy and magic to our school. Here's to more festive fun as we countdown to Christmas!
We have had some Christmas caroling the last two days! Mrs. Kalli's class sang at Texas Bank yesterday and Mrs. Vences and Mrs. Catie's class sang at Origins Bank today. Every Kindergarten class will be performing throughout the next two weeks before Christmas break!
Mrs. Reynolds' class is feeling like their hearts have grown three sizes! Nineteen sponsors throughout the community sponsored a student in the class and was able to provide them with a stuffed Grinch and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"!

This week has been filled with gratitude and fun! Our Pre-K students put on their version of a Thanksgiving Parade with balloon floats and all! They did a great job of kicking off the Thanksgiving break.
Our Kindergartners gathered for their Friendship Feast this afternoon!
We are so thankful for our amazing students and teachers who make moments like these unforgettable. Wishing everyone a joyful and love-filled Thanksgiving!

Mrs. Reynolds' class had a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) project last week. They worked together in groups to make a teepee using whatever tools they had in the classroom. We love to see them thinking outside of the box!
Yesterday, our students got the chance to meet some amazing community helpers who make a difference every day. 🚒👮♀️🩺
A HUGE thank you to Henderson Fire Dept., Henderson Police Dept., Rusk County Electric, Wallace Wrecker Services, Mounted Patrol, and HGR Construction! The kids loved learning about your jobs, exploring your tools, and hearing your stories!
We had the best time on our Pre-K field trip to Calie's Acres yesterday! The kids loved getting hands-on and being in some fresh air!
Today, we were honored to welcome veterans to Wylie Primary for our "Muffins with Military" event! It was special to see our local veterans and their students hanging out together. Thank you to all the veterans who took the time to be with us, we’re grateful for your service and dedication.
Additionally, a small group of our students visited veterans at Henderson Health and Rehab to show their appreciation. The students and residents both really enjoyed it!
