Dear HISD Families,
Wylie Primary School will be conducting a required lockdown drill this Wednesday (March 6, 2024). This exercise is a part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Preparing for all types of emergencies is a responsibility HISD takes very seriously.
Law enforcement officials will also be supporting the exercise to provide expertise and to practice responding to the scene. People driving by may notice an increased police presence outside the buildings during this brief drill.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Dear HISD Families,
All security lockdowns and holds in the district have been released. All students and staff are safe are returning to their regular class schedules.
The Henderson Police Department, campus SROs, district authorities and other law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, initiated an investigation into the threat and have determined there does not appear to be any immediate danger to students or staff.
The safety and security of our students, staff, and community remains our highest priorities. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this time.
