Wylie Elementary Parents- This is a friendly reminder that our 2nd meeting for our Parent & Community Engagement Policy review is today at 5:30pm at Wylie Elementary Library. The purpose of this meeting is to gather information on ways we can improve our parent & community engagement piece at WES. We hope to see you there.

Wylie Elementary School Community Book Run is coming soon. We will be coming to you on August 3 beginning at 5pm. Check out the flyer attached for the dates and locations we will be visiting this year. We can't wait to see our students.


Wylie Elementary Parents- We are having our annual Parent and Community Engagement Parent Policy Planning meeting soon and we need your input. We are offering 2 different meeting option times and hope to see everyone there.

After completing the google form, current reserved seating ticket holders will receive an email from Hometown Ticketing with instructions on how to purchase tickets. Join us for our HISD Summer Feeding! Mondays-Thursdays (June 12 - July 13), 11:30am - Noon at Fair Park (by the splash pad) in Henderson. Kids 0-18 eat at no cost!

Summer Academy at Wylie Elementary kicks off this Monday, June 5th. Drop off begins at 7:45am with Breakfast provided from 8:00-8:30am, and pick-up starting at 11:45am in front of the Elementary building. If you did not register for your child, you will need to park and come into the school on the first day to register your student. Contact the school (903) 655-5201 if you have any questions.

End of the Year Party Pre-Registration is available for parents who plan to attend this event on Thursday, May 25. Please pre-register if possible. This cuts down on the wait time on the morning of the events.



Attention 2nd and 3rd grade boys- There will be a basketball camp available on June 5-9 from 1-3pm for a cost of $40 per camper. Please register by May 20. See flyer for additional information.

2nd grade Field Day is tomorrow, May 17, from 8:30am-12pm. Please pre-register to speed up the check in process. The pre-registration link can be found on the attached flyer.
3rd grade Field Day is Friday, May 19, at the Lions Stadium from 8:30-12pm.



2nd grade students will host a music program on Thursday May 18 and Friday May 19. Pre-registration for the music program is open. Please register in advance to speed up the process on Thursday and Friday as we try to accommodate family and friends attending the program.
